Shane- I hit my head.

(Skates toward the barrier clutching at his temples)

(He drops to his knees and staggers up suddenly)

Phoebe- You’re crying.

Shane- I can’t see.

Phoebe- What?!

Shane- I can’t see!

Phoebe- Here, take my hand come here-

Shane- Evil.

Phoebe- What!?

Shane- Oh jesus, I’m – oh god..

Phoebe- Gimmie your hand, stop!

Shane- Is it bleeding? Oh lord- Please.

Phoebe- Hey! Stop! Gimmie your hand! Stop!!

Shane- (incoherent)

Phoebe- ..you, stop please. Heey!

Shane- Don’t touch me.

(FADE- Upwards beyond the Skyline.)

Shane- We die.. at a certain age- because that’s what they tell us will happen, and we believed them.
