The Hollywood Effect

The internet has altered human life in such drastic fashion that it was a nearly seamless transition. One of the notable changes is human perception of self. With self-photography having become as natural as eating- now most humans have complete control of how they perceive themselves.

Not how they actually look.

The Easter Bunny

The fact is that if given a choice most people prefer to see themselves in a good light as opposed to an honest one. An honest light might say “oh, this isn’t a great angle can you look that way and turn sideways?” This alone has been replaced with rainbow colors that make everyone skinny and gorgeous. The mirror which is most honest being replaced with forward facing cameras.

With the option to never appear publicly (on the internet) any way other than how one wants – with the exception of actual famous people who are photographed every second of the day in all light-everyone chooses to look fantastic and perfect online.

So by choosing to replace reality with rainbow colors and forward facing cameras everyone is developing mental disorders.

The Easter Bunny

‘Delusion’ – Persistent false belief regarding the self outside the self that is maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary.

Some people might prefer to see different rainbow colors surrounding their friends on the internet as opposed to reading the News or listening to Political Leaders help guide Mankind through a Pandemic but most people seem to like the current reward system for using colors to grace the internet such as emoticons which represent emotions that might take thought to express otherwise.

The thing with Mental Disorders is that when un-diagnosed they will simply get worse and worse and most vulnerable would be children as their minds are still developing. Flashing colors, loud sounds and staring at the phone for hours cross-eyed can begin the development of abnormal behavior and lead to multiple disorders depite how great one looks, including ruined vision.
